    Virtual swearing-in ceremonies planned for newly elected SBC, SEC members

    Today, October 30th, the Eastern Shoshone Tribe announced the swearing-in ceremonies for the newly elected Shoshone Business Council (SBC), and Shoshone Entertainment Committee (SEC) members will happen on Monday, November 2nd.

    The ceremonies will be live-streamed and available to watch remotely.

    The Eastern Shoshone Tribe would like to invite the tribal membership, tribal staff, local community members, dignitaries, and officials to attend the Virtual Swearing-In Ceremony for the newly elected Shoshone Business Council members John St. Clair, Mike Ute, and John Washakie as well as the Shoshone Entertainment Committee.

    SBC swearing-in begins at 11 a.m. in SBC Chambers with a limited number of individuals in attendance due to COVID-19 precautions.

    SEC will be sworn in outside the Rock Hall at 12 p.m. to allow for proper social distancing.

    Ceremonies will be streamed Live on the Eastern Shoshone Tribe’s YouTube page.
