Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.
The Riverton Downtowner’s in conjunction with community volunteers are coming together to plan a family celebration downtown, dubbed Rally Riverton, on Saturday, July 11th, shared organizer Julie Buller.
The public is invited to the kickoff meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 28th, starting at 5:30 pm. It will be held at Shelle Anderson Photography located at 612 E. Main Street.
Organizers hope Rally Riverton will provide a day of family fun since local nonprofit Arts in Action made the tough decision to cancel Day in the Park, their biggest fundraiser of the year, that was planned for July 11th.
