Unique auction items for Ned LeDoux Fundraiser Concert and Auction
Lander Parks and Recreation would like to thank Altitude Interiors in Lander for bringing you this content.
NED LEDOUX is holding a concert to help Lander BUILD THE RODEO BLEACHERS on Saturday, February 10 at the Lander Community Center.
Lander’s Concert Fundraising Committee is excited to not only bring you a night of fine entertainment from Ned LeDoux; there will also be a silent and live auction during the concert on behalf of the bleacher project.
Many unique auction items have already been donated, such as handmade patio benches using wood from the old arena bleachers, stallion breeding fees, a Chris LeDoux basket of memorabilia, custom leather-tooled breast collar, handmade leather headstall, horse sculpture, massage coupon, artwork, and much more!
The Fundraising Committee is asking for donated auction items to further their fundraising efforts. To donate an item, which qualifies for a tax exemption, contact Sara Felix, Lander Parks and Recreation, 307-332-4647.
Buy your concert and auction entry tickets early, as we expect a sellout! Concert tickets are $30 in advance, purchased online at: landerwyoming.org. If there are any tickets available at the door, they will be $35.
The Lander Community Center is located at 950 Buena Vista Drive. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a silent auction until 7:30. From 6:00-8:00 two warm-up bands, Erica Murphree & Billy Browning, and Raine & Wayne, will provide music. The live auction will start at 8:00 p.m. with Ned LeDoux and his band playing from 8:30-10:00. Food and adult beverages will be available for purchase starting at 5:30.
Ned LeDoux, a talented musician from Kaycee, Wyoming, has recently released his album, Sagebrush, played at the NFR in Las Vegas, and opened for Garth Brooks in Nashville. Ned has family ties in Lander, and has generously agreed to help raise funds to purchase much-needed bleachers at the Lander Rodeo Grounds.
When the Lander Old Timers Rodeo Association hosts visitors from all over the world at the July 3 and 4 Pioneer Days Rodeo, known as the “Granddaddy of Them All” rodeo, spectators will be sitting on new and reconditioned bleachers! The arena and bleachers will be reconfigured to make the seating safer for spectators, and also provide a closer view of all the arena action, whether it be a rodeo, the annual 4th of July fireworks, or any number of future events that will be possible.
