The Lander Police Department responded to two separate incidents Tuesday in which a gun was reported stolen.
The first of which was reported just after 11:00 a.m. A homeowner said that a gun was stolen from a residence on Adams Street.
Tuesday evening at 5:47 p.m. a motorist reported that a gun had been stolen from his vehicle. The motorist told authorities that he had ran out of gas and was walking to get fuel. When they returned to their vehicle, the gun was gone.
It was not clear if these two crimes were related or if LPD has any suspects at this time.
