Two Fremont County Districts near the top of a new Wyoming District ranking list

Fremont County School District #6 in Pavillion is ranked number 13 on the list and FCSD #1 in Lander is number 24. Two Fremont County School Districts made the top 25 on a new 2020 School District ranking by data analysis company Niche.

Niche is a company that analyzes schools and districts using “countless data sets to produce rankings, report cards, and in-depth profiles” according to their website. They also utilize local community feedback such as reviews in the rankings.

Their 2020 Best Districts rankings are based on a combination of keys statistics, reviews and data from the US Department of Education. Fremont County Schools topped the list of Most Diverse Schools in Wyoming with three in the top 10:

#1 goes to FCSD #6
#2 to FCSD #25 in Riverton
#4 is FCSD #1
