Current Commissioners’ lines (based on the new census) are very evenly divided and could stand as they are for the next 10 years.  However, there are a few changes that were made to the Legislative House lines that are proposed as “cleanup of lines” for Commissioner District approval.

These are the only proposals.  Your concerns and ideas are important.  Please look at the map, contact the County Clerk at 307-332-1122, or attend one of these meetings to learn more or make comments.  The Commissioner Districts will be set by the County Commission no later than April 19, 2022.

    Proposed changes are as follows:

    1) Move the current Commissioner lines (between Commissioner Districts #1 and #2) in the Crowheart area from the river to Highway 26.  Every voter situated North of Hwy 26 would be in Commissioner District #2 and every voter situated South of Hwy 26 would be in Commissioner District #1.
