    Truck involved in hit-and-run, property damage sought by Fremont County Sheriff’s

    Fremont County Sheriff’s officers are looking for a truck involved in a hit-and-run accident in Lander that resulted in property damage Friday afternoon.

    4:31 p.m. Friday, officers were notified that a truck had crashed into a fence on the 1900 block of North 2nd Street, near Sawmill Street, just north of downtown Lander. The vehicle immediately left the scene.

    The hit and run incident occurred in the 1900 block of North Second Street.  The vehicle was described as a white Toyota Truck (unknown registration) described as having “dog kennels in the back”  The vehicle ran off the roadway, took out about 30 yards of fence drove through a field, turning around and heading southbound.  We were unable to locate any vehicles in the area matching that description.  Anyone with information can call 332-1010.
