Trio of candidates emerge for Wyoming Game & Fish Director position

    According to a release from the Associated Press, the Wyoming Game & Fish has narrowed their candidates to their top three choices to take over for Scott Talbot who will retire this month after 34 years with the department.

    Governor Mark Gordon will choose between the three to appoint as the new director.

    The three finalists include Brian Nesvik, he is currently the chief of the wildlife division for the Wyoming Game and Fish and a 24-year veteran of the department.


    Gary Bertellotti, who is the regional supervisor for Montana, Fish, Wildlife and Parks in Great Falls; and David Morrison, small game program director Texas Parks and Wildlife in Austin, Texas.

    A decision is expected before the end of the month.
