PC technician to join our busy, professional team.

You’ll provide support, such as hardware replacement, operating system reinstalls, virus and malware removal and other hardware maintenance. Providing customers with support for their individual or organization’s computer repair needs, which will include basic help desk support up to advanced IT troubleshooting. You’ll advise customers and recommend solutions.

This position involves troubleshooting workstations on a variety of platforms including: Microsoft Windows (All Versions) and Mac OS X (All Versions) Occasional assisting with the rollout of large projects, including installing computers, networking equipment, server and storage solutions. Work will be primarily from our retail store location however, some work may be performed at the customer site (company provided vehicle, with your clean driving record).

The successful candidate will have a professional appearance, take initiative and have the ability to work unsupervised. Must be able to multi-task and manage time among different clients and communicate in layman’s terms complex technology to customers in person and over the phone.

Team member will provide a high level of support for our business clients, government entities and high end users.

Positions in this field will require the need for specialized expertise and skills that often cross over into multiple disciplines.

  • Provide high level of technical support to business and end users including but not limited to: desktop and server hardware/software installation, maintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting
  • Performs system and infrastructure work including network maintenance, security, updates, backups and performance tuning
  • Performs all phases of application development including: development, configuration, installation, integration, maintenance and/or management of networked systems and devices used for the transmission of voice, data and video formats.
  • Expert at multiple products, researches/resolves difficult IT problems
  • Performs activities related to data management, systems engineering and administration
  • Assists in the planning, analysis and design of network systems and infrastructure
  • Proactively monitors and tunes systems for performance and performs diagnostics as needed
  • Writes detailed advanced technical project reports and makes recommendations
  • Assists during meetings with senior executives, board of directors, commissioners etc. and may participate in strategic planning and budget recommendations
  • Working knowledge and support for our other service offerings (telephony, security and access control)
  • Provide training to end users
  • Provide excellent customer service person to person, via phone, email and remote connections
  • Works with very limited supervision, responsible for their own work quality
  • Responsible for self training and research in order to solve network problems

Some day time travel is required -company vehicle provided with your clean driving record.
