TRAINING DRILL COMPLETED: FCSD students and local agencies take part in training exercise

This morning, Friday, November 16th between 9:30am and 12:00pm a training exercise at Hudson Town Hall took place to prepare local agencies for a mass casualty incident. A mass casualty incident is an event where the number of victims and/or severity of injuries may potentially exhaust available emergency medical resources and challenge the community’s ability to respond in a normal way.

So what’s the best way to prepare for the worst? Stage it. The drill included:

9:30am – At the incident site, the training exercise simulated a bus tip-over due to icy conditions.
