Today is the last day to submit your nominations for the Lander Chamber of Commerce’s annual Lander Community Awards!
“It takes a good amount of time to plan for the Community Awards Luncheon,” explained Lander Chamber Executive Director Owen Sweeney. “And when we looked out on the horizon last fall, we didn’t think it was prudent to plan to gather together as we always do. But we didn’t want to let a year go by without celebrating our members; that’s how the idea of the Community Awards Video Series came about.”
It seems Fremont County residents agree: so far the Chamber has received 130 nominations and counting! “The response has been tremendous,” said Sweeney. “Through these videos, we expect the winners and our sponsors to receive more exposure than ever before, and we foresee these videos becoming a regular part of the in-person luncheons in the future. We want to express our gratitude to Central Bank & Trust, Rocky Mountain Power, Fagnant, Lewis & Brinda, and the LOR Foundation for underwriting the Community Awards this year.”
