(Casper, WY) – It’s not the Thursday game either of the Lander basketball teams were hoping for, but it is a chance to bring home some hardware.
A third place trophy will be on the line for both teams Thursday afternoon.
After the LVHS boys knocked off Douglas 68-42 earlier Wednesday, they fell for a fourth time this season to Worland, 64-54. The Lady Tigers took care of Newcastle Wednesday morning, but then ran into an undefeated Douglas team and lost 74-35.
The Lady Tigers play in the third place game Thursday at noon against Worland.
The Tiger boys play Buffalo at 1:30 Thursday afternoon. Both games are at the Ford Wyoming Center (formerly Casper Events Center.)
