Tiger swimmers off to great start at State Championship

The Lander Valley High School Tiger boys swim team is looking for their 24th consecutive championship and their 27th overall.

Warm-ups and prelims were held at Laramie High School Thursday and the finals begin Friday at 10:00 a.m.


Wyopreps.com reports that Lander won 10 events in the prelims. They also report that sophomore Johnny Kulow broke two individual records and that the 200 free relay team broke a state record.

Results are slowly coming in via the Wyoming High School Activities Association here. 

The class 4A meet begins Friday at 1:30 p.m. as Laramie is looking for their 3rd consecutive title.
