This seminar will prepare you for a bleeding emergency
Bleeding emergencies are more common than you think.
Say you’re camping in the woods, miles from an emergency and dad has a chainsaw accident… Or say you’re on the job and your coworker has a run-in with the saw blade. Would you panic or would you know how to stop the bleeding?
Depending on the injury, a person can bleed to death in minutes. With just a little training, you could learn how to evaluate the situation and use items nearby to stop the bleeding until help can arrive. What if an hour long seminar meant a life could be saved?
This Thursday, March 15th, SageWest Health Care in Lander is hosting a free “Stop the Bleed” luncheon seminar. Participants will learn how to evaluate and stabilize a person with significant bleeding caused by an injury.
