The perfect time to practice for the eclipse is today and tomorrow
Coverage of the August 2017 solar eclipse is brought to you by Shoshone Rose Casino and Hotel.
Where will you be August 21, 2017?
Today at 11:38 a.m., the sun will be in the exact same location that it will be on August 21st for the Wind River Eclipse. This is your opportunity to pick the location you want to view the eclipse. If you can’t do it today, look tomorrow, as the sun will be nearly in the same position.
The time to look is 11:36 am in Dubois, 11:38 in Pavillion and 11:39 in Hudson, Lander and Shoshoni. Take a selfie and tag #WindRiverCountry and #WindRiverEclipse on Instagram or @WindRiverWY on Twitter with the location and time you took the photo. You could win 10 pairs of eclipse glasses for your eclipse party! Please remember eye safety and do not look directly at the sun or photograph the sun directly.
