In order to maintain the safety of both the public and Game & Fish personnel, the Wyoming Game & Fish Department’s Lander Regional Office continues to serve the public by appointment and over the phone. The public is encouraged to call ahead and make an appointment and walk-up customers will be helped as staff becomes available.
Lander Office Manager Shawonda Fontaine says, “if you call first we can make sure you have everything you need before you get here and you will have the time set aside to be helped more quickly and efficiently.”
Much help can be offered over the phone and if the lines are busy, please leave a message with both your name and phone number, and you will receive a call back. Also, due to limited staffing, the office will be closed from 12:00 to 1:00 pm for lunch. The public is reminded that nearly all permits and licenses, including renewal watercraft registration and AIS decals, can easily be purchased online on the Game & Fish website at: https://wgfd.wyo.gov/.
