A small gesture can make a BIG difference

Teton Therapy will be collecting supplies for the First Stop Help Center throughout the month of March. Bring supplies and get entered into a raffle to win a prize!

First Stop Help Center is a local organization dedicated to helping people and families in crisis, particularly those facing homelessness. They provide emergency assistance and financial education, as well as help refer people to state and federal programs that can provide support.

“There are families in our community that are homeless or simply wondering how they are going to put food on the table,” explained Ariel Bernath, a Teton employee. “First Stop Help Center is a great organization that helps make our community stronger.”

Wyoming towns have a way of pulling together and supporting our neighbors. We at Teton Therapy believe that because our community supports us, we should return that love and give back to the community any way we can.

Here are a list of things the First Stop Help Center can use:

shampoo
conditioner
deodorant
toothpaste
toothbrush
bar soap
washing soap
toilet paper
lotion

*hotel samples are a big hit.

Bring these items into Teton Therapy at 425 Lincoln Street in Lander from March 1-March 29.

For each item you bring in, you’ll be entered into a raffle to win $100 of Lander Chamber Bucks, which is money that can be spent at any business that’s a member of the Lander Chamber of Commerce.

*Think: dinner at a restaurant, a downpayment for a bike, a piece of jewelry, outdoor gear, etc…all of that, and knowing you’ve helped make a big difference in someone’s life with a small gesture.
