(Dubois, Wyo.) – Falls Campground on the Wind River Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest will be closed for one to three days in mid-September to facilitate application of insecticide. This closure will allow workers to apply the insecticide Carbaryl in an attempt to protect trees from bark beetles and help retain green trees in the campground.
Spraying operations are scheduled to begin on September 10th and should conclude on September 12th. Actual spraying dates may vary, as this work is weather dependent. For further information, contact the Wind River Ranger District (307-455-2466).
