    Take the cold plunge on March 19th to support Special Olympics

    (Riverton, WY) – Who is ready to get “Freezin’ for a Reason” with Special Olympics Riverton? It’s almost time for the annual Jackalope Jump, which is happening at Riverton’s City Hall parking lot on March 19th. Registration begins at 10 am and jumping into the cold water starts at 11 am.

    The concept is simple: participants raise $100 and will take a refreshing dip into chilly water. The Jumps, however, are so much more than that! They’re the kind of fun and inspiring events that you really have to experience to understand. Grab some friends, plan some fun costumes, get pumped and register today for the Riverton jump here

    Participants raising $100 will earn a one-of-a-kind Jackalope Jump T-shirt and blanket. Individuals that raise $750 receive an additional embroidered fleece jacket. Awards to recognize the best costume, largest group, and most funds raised are given out with a chance to earn some cool extras.

    Special Olympics Wyoming is a non-profit organization providing year-round sports training, athletic competition and other related programs to children and adults with intellectual disabilities; offering them continuing opportunities to realize their potential, develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy and friendship.
