(Fremont County, WY) – Due to the amount of snow received from this storm, Fremont County Emergency Management is encouraging everyone to be alert to the fact that the NWS is predicting temperatures that could reach 43 degrees by Saturday, March 12th, which can lead to surface flooding.
Sandbags are available, however, you will need to supply your own sand (it must be sand for the sandbags to be effective).
“Due to a limited supply of sandbags in the county, and the difficulties we all are seeing with the country’s ‘supply chain,’ please do not ask for more than you need for the immediate protection of your property. The number of bags any one household can receive will be restricted depending on the severity of surface flooding,” FCEM said in their press release.
