Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes challenges former Wyoming QB to throwing competition

Former Wyoming Cowboys, now Buffalo Bills, quarterback Josh Allen is feeling some pressure from Super Bowl MVP, Patrick Mahomes.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback took exception to the fact that the most recent Madden NFL video game gave Allen a better “arm strength rating” than Mahomes. On a possible scale of 100, Allen got football’s best score, a 99. Mahomes scored a 97.

After learning that, Patrick jumped online and challenged Allen to a throwing competition.

Josh told ‘Good Morning Football’ this week. “Yes I’m game, we’re working on it. We had something in place actually, supposed to be going this summer, but obviously COVID restrictions had that kind of shot down, but yes, I’m game.”

Allen was very complimentary of the Chiefs quarterback saying, “Pat has one of the strongest arms in the league, he’s — if not the best quarterback in the league right now, just the things that he can do on the football field, it’s pretty unbelievable to watch. I’m a big fan of his game and his playing style. I’d love to finally settle this and figure it out, but we’ll have to make sure that whatever the case may be, it’s going to a good cause and there’s some charity involved with it.”
