Sunny skies, warming temperatures for Tuesday

    (Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that due the the high pressure ridge axis overhead, we can expect sunny skies today, May 28, with potential to see the warmest day of the year for some areas.

    Lipson added that clear conditions are expected tonight, with potential for storms, high winds and even warmer temperatures for tomorrow.

    The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that there is the possibility of storms/rain showers for southwestern portions of the state today, but it will be dry for most.


    High temperatures will be in the 70’s for most today, with the South Pass area in the upper 60’s, and Riverton and Shoshoni in the lower 80’s.

    Lows tonight in the 40’s and 50’s.
