Stop the Bleed. Save a Life!

Libby Littler recently presented to a local 4-H club and Central Wyoming College staff the Stop The Bleed course.

Stop the Bleed is a campaign under the Department of Homeland Security. It is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action. Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.

Through the Stop the Bleed course, you gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and intervene effectively. The person next to a bleeding victim may be the one who’s most likely to save him or her. Take the course and become empowered to make a life or death difference when a bleeding emergency occurs.
