Stop by the Wednesday Market for all kinds of goodies & meet Wyoming’s First Lady, Jennie Gordon!

A big thank you to our sponsor Wyoming Community Bank for bringing you this content on County 10.

Come to the Wednesday Market at Riverton City Park on July 15th to meet and welcome Wyoming’s First Lady, Jennie Gordon! She is expected to drop by soon after 5 PM to visit the market, meeting producers and shoppers. Please come give her a taste of real Fremont County hospitality!

We’re expecting the first tomatoes this week, along with broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers, beets, perhaps early summer squash, more unique radish varieties, baby carrots, and beautiful lettuces, spinach, and chard. Look for both sweet and hot peppers! All the warm weather is really encouraging great production in local gardens.

Carlesons have early Colorado peaches and sweet cherries.

And of course, there are lots of fresh eggs, Wyoming honey, pickles, jams and jellies, bottled sauces, and fresh baked goods. Try out the cinnamon rolls from two different bakers – they’re both great! And the key lime pies are a special treat! We’re hoping our local raw milk dairy folks, Gold Standard Dairy, are back this week with their usual offerings of sweet, fresh milk, butter, sour cream, soft cheeses, whipping cream, yogurt, and kefir. Don’t forget to pick up beef products from Lost Wells Cattle Co.

Riverton is so fortunate to have access to such a well-rounded and broad supply of locally produced foods. Please stop by to support them and express your appreciation!

Riverton City Park, every Wednesday from 5-7 PM. Plenty of customer parking!
