    #Smiles: State Champs Again! LVHS boys swimming makes it 26 in a row

    A series to share #smiles across our community through the achievements of our local youth, brought to you by Olsen Orthodontics.

    (Lander, WY) – The Lander Valley High School boys swimming and diving team continued their excellence in the pool this season, capped off by another state championship Friday in Gillette.

    Senior Johnny Kulow won the 3A Athlete of the meet and 3A Athlete of the Year awards. Head Coach Shawna Morgan claimed 3A Coach of the Year.

    Lander claimed victory in 9 out of the 13 events this year:

    • The 200 medley relay team of Nolan McFadden, Reed McFadden, Jonny Kulo and Benny Kulow took first
    • Junior Dylan Huselkamp won the 200 yard freestyle
    • Sophomore Benny Kulow won the 200 IM
    • Senior Johnny Kulow won the 50 yard free and the 100 yard free
    • Senior Brennan Blackburn won the 100 fly
    • Junior Brayden Brown won the 500 free
    • Senior Nolan McFadden won the 100 yard backstroke
    • The 400 free relay team of Brennen Blackburn, Dylan Huselkamp, Nolan McFadden and Jonny Kulow won

    Lander scored a total of 388 team points. Buffalo High School finished second at 211 points, followed by Worland in third at 112. Riverton High School finished 7th with 88 total points.
