St. Stephens Lady Eagle star guard, Martina Brown, signed her letter of intent Monday to play college basketball for Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB.)
Brown was joined by Lady Eagle head coach Rachel Rapp, Athletic’s Director Matthew Mortimore, and several of her family, friends, and teammates for the ceremony.
The DCB Jacks open their regular season in early November.
Brown is the only player from Wyoming currently on the Jacks women’s basketball roster. DCB has created quite the St. Stephens connection in 2019 however, signing two St. Stephens football players earlier this year, Roberto Hernandez and David Kills Pretty Enemy. Two duo were the first ever Eagles to sign a letter of intent to play college football.
The Junior College is located in Bottineau, North Dakota, which is northeast of Minot and about 15 miles south of the Canadian border.
