    St. Stephens celebrates 17 graduates on Sunday

    (St. Stephens, WY) – St. Stephens High School honored their Class of 2021 during a commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 23rd.

    17 students graduated this year including Harland Addison, Jamison After Buffalo, Kaitlyn Betts, Timberly Blackburn, Laura Brown, Powiah Carpitcher Jr., Jessica Carrillo-Goggles, Josiah Divers, Isaiah Felter, Mariah Heavy Runner, Faith Janis-Ridgley, Zariah June, Elijah Littleshield, Tatiana Montoya, Keysha Moon, Dacia Tollefson and Kodah Warren.

    The Class of 2021 Valedictorian is Powiah Carpitcher Jr. and Zariah June is the Salutatorian.

    The grads were led into the gymnasium by the Arapaho Warriors Color Guard with Flag Song from the Arapaho Nation Drum Group. George Leonard provided the prayer.

    Principal Matt Mortimore was the master of ceremonies. Superintendent Frank No Runner also spoke during the graduation. Teacher and Coach Billy Brost was the guest speaker.

    The class colors are red, black and white, and their flower is a carnation. The class quote: “Cherish yesterday; live today; reach for tomorrow!”
