    Spread the word: A Brain Injury Support Group has come to Fremont County

    The Soldier’s House of Fremont County is collaborating with occupational therapist, Keely Tatro, and Teton Therapy to host a brain injury support group in Riverton. This is open to anyone affected by a brain injury, and will be held Monday, April 1, 2019 from 5-6pm at The Soldier’s House (1201 E. Jackson in Riverton).

    Keely Tatro is an occupational therapist at Teton Therapy, and she will be providing support and guidance for the group. Keely has a lot of experience working brain injuries from her time working in Houston at TIRR Memorial Hermann Hospital, one of the top research and rehabilitation hospitals in the nation.

    The support group will meet to discuss and share side effects, deficits, struggles and victories of living with a brain injury. Topics will include attention, memory, safety, emotional regulation, problem solving and overall independence and engagement in daily activities that one desires.

    The group will be open to anyone, veterans and civilians with brain injuries, caregivers and loved ones.
