Spotlight on Fremont Therapy’s co-owner Tom Davis, Fremont County’s only therapist board certified in both Sports and Orthopedic specialties

In honor of Fremont Therapy Group’s 25th anniversary, we take this opportunity to recognize Lander clinic director and partner Tom Davis. Tom has been with Fremont Therapy Group since 2014. He was born and raised in Montana and made his way to Lander with his college sweetheart and wife, Ally Weller, who is a Wyoming native, raised in Lander. Together, they are raising their twin boys with the joy of having extended family close by.

Tom brings a broad clinical skill set to the ownership team at Fremont Therapy Group and has demonstrated the highest level of clinical excellence as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) as well as a Sport Certified Specialist (SCS). These designations are granted by the American Board of Physical Therapy to those who have achieved more than 2,000 hours of clinical expertise in each area and have passed a rigorous examination process. Tom is currently the only physical therapist in Wyoming to have achieved both the OCS and SCS certifications.

In addition to Tom’s OCS and SCS knowledge, he leads a team of seven strong therapists whose patients benefit from care provided by a board-certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist and therapists with advanced training in the treatment of chronic pain, vestibular and balance disorders, running analysis, aquatic therapy, dry needling and more. The clinic’s close collaboration with the Lander Valley High School athletic program through its Athletic Training and Sportsmetrics programs, makes our Lander clinic the first choice for parents for their student-athletes, along with adult competitive athletes and weekend warriors wishing to advance their performance.

I’m lucky to be on a great team and be part of a great company, and I love being a part of this community.  It’s truly rewarding to see patients out and about, getting back to doing what they want with their lives.

Tom’s dedication to patient care and movement goes beyond the clinic; You can often find him volunteering on the sidelines at Lander Valley High School athletic events or participating in competitive racing, demonstrating his personal commitment to an active lifestyle. He loves to explore the Wind Rivers both on foot and by mountain bike.

We are proud to call Tom a partner and acknowledge his many accomplishments. We have the highest respect for Tom, with his willingness to invest in himself and Fremont Therapy Group, and his dedication to his team and his community.  We look to Tom as one of the key owners who will take Fremont Therapy into the next decade and beyond.
