(South Pass, WY) – The Wyoming Department of Transportation closed South Pass due to winter conditions as of 5:41 a.m. Thursday morning.
Heavy snowfall and gusty winds are creating tough travel conditions all across Fremont County and statewide this morning.
Interstate 80 remains shut down in large sections Thursday.
Snowfall is expected to continue heavily Thursday morning, before tapering off Thursday afternoon. A return of some flurries is expected for Friday morning.
