Volunteers of America is hosting their Empty Bowl Fundraiser this October 25th from 5-7p at the Fremont County Fairgrounds. Empty Bowl is VOA’s signature event of the year, raising critically needed funds for VOA’s services in Fremont County.
Choose a bowl to take home from a unique selection of locally made pottery. Then, sample up to 30 different gourmet soups. As you fill your belly with warm, comfort food you can smile 🙂 knowing your donation will go towards helping friends and neighbors in your community!
All proceeds from this year’s Empty Bowl fundraiser will go towards the following local programs:
Center of Hope – So much more than a ‘detox center.’ The facility has transitioned its focus to a true social detoxification model which provides a variety of treatment options ranging from substance abuse assessments to sober housing and vocational rehabilitation to aid individuals with their sobriety for the longterm.
Pingora Behavioral Health Clinic – Pingora helps individuals succeed along their route to opioid and heroin recovery.
Camp POSTCARD – In a fun environment, local law enforcement and criminal justice professionals provide kids the tools they need to feel confident saying ‘no’ to drugs.
Tickets available at the door. $25 Families (2 adults and 2 kids), $10 Adults, and $5 Kids (5 and under free).
