    Snowfall likely across Fremont County Thursday

    Snow began falling Wednesday morning in western Wyoming, including Togwotee Pass (photo above) and Dubois. For the rest of Fremont County, residents can expect snowfall early Thursday morning.

    Currently, flakes are projected to start falling in the Riverton/Lander/Fort Washakie area around 4:00 a.m. Thursday. Jeffrey City is likely to see a rain/snow mix Wednesday, and more snowfall early Thursday. South Pass is also expected to see snowfall early Thursday.

    Currenty the National Weather Service office in Riverton is projecting around an inch of snow in Riverton and Dubois. Between 1-2 inches in Jeffrey City. And, 2-3 inches in Lander and higher elevations. Sections of southern Wyoming, including Interstate 80 may also see 2-3 inches of snow.
