Over the last few, in mid-to-late December, the anticipation begins building among Fremont County ice skaters.
Parks Department crews began working on ice rink assembly this week at Riverton’s Tonkin Stadium. The ice rink was first developed in 2015, and has been well attended every winter since.
R Recreation said that the Riverton Parks Department is, “ready to start putting down the layers of ice and are watching the longterm forecast closely to determine when to begin.”
