The subject of three lengthy Riverton City Council discussions last winter is getting installed.
An 80-foot tall flagpole is now standing, and will soon include the actual flag, outside of Freedom Liquors at 604 West Main Street.
The request for an 80 foot pole from Freedom Liquors made it necessary for the City of Riverton to write a new ordinance last December.
A grand opening event and is set for next weekend and will include the raising of the flag.
