    #Smiles: Wyoming Stampede made it to the Gold Medal Games Championship

    A series to share #smiles across our community through the achievements of our local youth, brought to you by Olsen Orthodontics.

    The Wyoming Stampede travel hockey team was undefeated this weekend all the way to the final championship game at the Gold Medal Games in Provo, Utah. They won four games in 3-days against teams from Texas, California, Montana, and Colorado.

    In the final championship game Monday afternoon, Montana N.A. Prep Wild did take the win 5-2. However, the Stampede did get a win against them Sunday with a score of 6-3.

    Weekend results shared below were provided by Kassie Holdren:

    • Game 1 – 2/13 – Wyoming Stampede vs. Dallas Penguins, 6-4
    • Game 2 – 2/14 – Wyoming Stampede vs. Sacramento, CA Thunder, 8-1
    • Game 3 – 2/14 – Wyoming Stampede vs. Montana N.A. Prep Wild, 6-3
    • Game 4 – 2/15 – Wyoming Stampede vs. Arapahoe Colorado Ice Warriors, 3-0
    • Championship – 2/15 – Wyoming Stampede vs. Montana N.A. Prep Wild, 2-5

    This 10U-A Squirt team consists of players from Riverton, Lander, Sheridan, and Cody. All of whom had never played together as a team until a few weeks ago when they were named the 2021 Grizz Cup Champions, Kassie shared.
