    #Smiles: Wyoming Indian girls cross country team unveils championship banner

    A series to share #smiles across our community through the achievements of our local youth, brought to you by Rendezvous Dental.

    In October, the Wyoming Indian Lady Chiefs claimed a class 2A girls state cross country championship.

    Freshman Paris Barrera won first overall, beating Moorcroft senior Hailey Jones by 5 seconds. Jones was the defending individual champion. Larissa McElroy from WIHS finished 3rd and Riquell Curry took 4th.

    The Lady Chiefs and Head Coach Julie Her Many Horses were honored recently at a Wyoming Indian basketball game.

    They had the chance to unveil the new championship banner that now proudly hangs in Alfred Redman Gymnasium.
