A series to share #smiles across our community through the achievements of our local youth, brought to you by Rendezvous Dental.
Three of Riverton’s finest skateboarders competed this past weekend in the Wild West Skateboard Contest Series in Jackson.
Patrick Smith, Jerel Brown, and Gabby Garrigan made the trek to Jackson early Saturday morning to compete in the second leg of the series.
The competition combined street and park style and was highly competitive.
Patrick took home 1st place in the 10-12 year-old division, Jerel won 3rd in the 13-18 year-old boys division and Gabby won 1st in the female division.
The trio will travel back to Jackson on September 8th for the final leg of the Wild West Skateboard Contest Series.
According to family members, the skaters regularly practice their skills at the Riverton City Park skate park.
