After the Lander-area received about one foot of snowfall last week, two young men worked hard to clear their favorite Lander recreation area, the skate park.
Chase McFadden snapped these photos of 15-year-old Sebastian Gonzales (right) and 12-year-old Derik Ingwerson. Derik rides his scooter to the park and says he’s been riding it for about one year. Gonzalez says he’s been riding BMX for the last couple years and also enjoys mountain biking.
The two said they were trying to get the surfaces at the park shoveled after Friday’s heavy snowstorm so the concrete could dry and people would be able to use the skatepark again sooner.
