#Smiles: Riverton students rewarded, ride to lunch with favorite RPD Officer

A series to share #smiles across our community through the achievements of our local youth, brought to you by Olsen Orthodontics.

(Riverton, WY) – Two Riverton Middle School students, 7th grader Joseph “JD” McAdams and 6th grader Quayden Burnette, were rewarded for their hard work and good behavior this week, and earned a ride to lunch with their favorite Officer in an official police car.

“JD and Quayden love getting to go visit with our SRO, Mr. Tyler Larsen each morning when they get to school as well as at lunch,” stated RMS Principal Aziz Waheed.

“Both students have great attendance, have worked hard all year, and are kind to others. We thought they would be over the moon if we had Officer Larsen offer to take them to lunch in his police car. They loved the experience and were thrilled to meet Chief Murphy and Sgt. Nation as well.”

The boys also had a great time learning how to turn on the siren and checking out the lights.

    Great job JD and Quayden!
