Riverton High School (RHS) junior Dalten Leach has earned All State Jazz honors for the 2019-2020 school year. He is the first RHS student in recent years to earn this recognition.
Dalten has played the trombone for six years and was selected to play 1st Trombone in the elite group, shared Jalene Leach. In addition to All State Jazz, Dalten has been selected for All State Band for all three years of high school, and is the only current RHS student to do so. He was also the Head Drum Major for the RHS Marching Band this year.
Adding to the list of his accomplishments, he was selected for the All-Northwest Wind Symphony honor group in Portland, Oregon in February of 2019.
