Riverton High School (RHS) Senior Keegan Thacker won the statewide competition Wyoming Symphony Orchestra Instrument Giveaway, and will be receiving a new trumpet from the Hill Music Company in Casper, Wyoming.
Keegan was required to write an essay on “What My Instrument Means to Me” and provide references in order to qualify for the competition.
“This is the 5th year the WSO and Hill Music have partnered to help high school musicians improve their musicality,” according to WSOIG.
