    #Smiles: RHS Speech and Debate take 3rd at state

    A series to share #smiles across our community through the achievements of our local youth, brought to you by Olsen Orthodontics.

    (Riverton, WY) – Riverton High School placed 3rd in the virtual 3A state championship this weekend.

    Coach Becca Pierson shared some individual results from the weekend below.

    Abigail Lipson made it to the semi-finals in Dramatic Interpretation and placed 1st in 3A in Dramatic Interpretation.

    Isaac Armejo-Ponce placed 2nd place overall in Humorous Interpretation and 1st in 3A in Humorous Interpretation.

    Carolyn Thornton made it to the semi-finals in Poetry Interpretation and placed 2nd in 3A in Poetry Interpretation.

    Kaia Tippets made it to the semi-finals in Program Oral Interpretation and placed 3rd in 3A in Extemporaneous Speaking.

    Jazmine Wildcat made it to the semi-finals in Congressional Debate and placed 2nd in 3A in Congressional Debate.

    Elizabeth Pierson & JJ Grover placed 3rd in 3A in Cross Examination Debate.

    Elizabeth Pierson placed 3rd overall in Original Oratory and 1st place in 3A in Original Oratory.
