Racking up another stellar finish, the RHS team was well represented by Perlene Kellar who took 5th in Extemporaneous Speaking, 5th in Impromptu Speaking and 6th in Informative Speaking.

Joseph Thornton claimed 1st in Humorous Interpretation, 1st in Dramatic Interpretation and 2nd in Poetic Interpretation. Carolyn Thornton placed 5th in Humorous Interpretation, Elizabeth Pierson took 4th in Original Oratory and 4th in Poetic Interpretation, Angel Carrillo took 7th in Congressional Debate, Kaia Tippits & Shannon Kreitzer were 5th in Duo Interpretation.

Teammates Hunter DeVries & Abby Lipson claimed 1st in Duo Interpretation. Semifinalist were Shannon Kreitzer in Humorous Interpretation, Abby Lipson in Dramatic Interpretation and Collin McLoughlin in Humorous Interpretation.

The team has done a fantastic job this season and has fought hard to maintain the strong reputation Riverton High School has for being a major contender in the competitive Wyoming High School Forensics Association.

This coming weekend (February 15 & 16) sees the Wolverines traveling with Coaches Annette Thornton and Becca Pierson to Worland for the “Worlando Beach Classic.”
