#WyoStrong: First Thanksgiving shuttle from UW to Fremont County brings 14 students home safely

#WyoStrong stories, brought to you by Wyoming Community Bank, highlight Wyoming perseverance, ingenuity, creativity and resilience.

The Wind River Transit Authority, Wyoming Department of Transportation, Injury Prevention Resources, and County 10 teamed up to help provide a round-trip transportation service for students at the University of Wyoming who are coming home for the holidays.

For just $20 per roundtrip ticket, the bus will take a student from Laramie to Riverton or Lander and return them back to the Gem City after Thanksgiving.

The inaugural bus trip had 14 passengers that made it to Fremont County safely, and for less than the price of a tank of gas.
