    #Smiles: 7th-Graders clean-up Lander City Park [Photos]

A series to share #smiles across our community through the achievements of our local youth, brought to you by Rendezvous Dental.

Lander Middle School 7th-graders Hallie Wilson and Willow Wells teamed up to organize a City Park cleanup day on Saturday, October 27th.

Several community adults and children turned up to do their part with the “Leave No Trace” park clean-up.

Helpers were provided with gloves and trash bags and helped by removing trash and debris from all around the park and areas nearby. Those who RSVP’d also received a free zipper pull for their help.

The clean-up day had already been organized, but it came just days after vandals had tagged a Lander church and area of sidewalk adjacent to City Park.

The event was part of a series of Lander Middle School community service projects, organized by students. County10.com will highlight more of these community service projects in the coming weeks!
