A small demonstration was held in Dubois on Tuesday. The group of individuals held Black Lives Matter signs, in response to what has become a global reaction to the police-involved killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis on May 25th.
Also on Tuesday, a vigil for George Floyd was held at Riverton City Park with an estimated 200 people in attendance.
On Thursday morning, Lander commuters noticed “End Racism” signs placed on a few local billboards.
A vigil is also expected in Lander Friday evening.
