Not every entrepreneur has a degree in business, and even if you do, bringing your idea to life while flying solo can seem like a daunting task.

Not every small business owner is good at every aspect of running their business (even though we try!).

Luckily for Fremont County business owners (and hopefuls!), there is plenty of support when questions come up.

The Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network offers a huge amount of advice and assistance to established businesses and to help you start a business of any size in any industry. The best part — their services are always free and completely confidential thanks to the support from the University of Wyoming, the Wyoming Business Council, and the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Maybe you need to brush up on an area that you didn’t know you would need when you started, like Human Resources, Cybersecurity, or Tax Preparation. Is it time to expand your market by selling online or overseas? You could also be trying to recover from a downturn, reinventing your business, or even getting ready to sell your company or retire.

If so, your local business expert is ready to assist you with no-cost, confidential services today.

Office Hours will be held on Thursday, November 7th, 11 am – 1 pm at the County 10 offices, 2255 Brunton Court, Suite A, Riverton. These are open “office hours” where you can stop in, without an appointment, to ask any business questions you have. Whether it’s just a quick chat or the start of a longer consulting relationship, this opportunity is a great place to start.

SBDC “Office Hours” this month will be staff by Wyoming SBDC Network Regional Director, Sarah Hamlin. Hamlin comes from a marketing and operations background with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver, an MBA from Colorado State University, and a certificate in Social Media Marketing from SUNY Plattsburg. In addition to general one-on-one business advising, Sarah specializes in social media and digital marketing.
