The most famous skateboarder of all-time, Tony Hawk, vacationed in Wyoming this summer and took the time to hang out with some Campbell County residents at a Gillette skate park this week.
County 17 reported that Hawk was taking a family vacation. They visited Montana, Yellowstone National Park and were headed across the state to South Dakota’s Badlands.
During the pit stop at the Gillette Skatepark, Hawk reportedly skated and signed autographs for about one hour.
Driving through Badlands with my family, no other cars in sight. Saw a downhill section and stopped so I can skate it. Halfway down two cars pass, one is a park ranger who turns around
Me (to myself): busted

You can’t rollerskate in a buffalo herd… but you can do a kickflip.
Thanks @goroamfree for this rare opportunity, and for all the great snacks. pic.twitter.com/xIXOZUpmZz— Tony Hawk (@tonyhawk) July 7, 2020
