#ShoshoniBiz: New RV park opens in time for Labor Day weekend

(Shoshoni, WY) – The Cross Roads RV Park located at 113 W 4th Street is hosting a grand opening on Friday, September 3rd. The public is invited from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm for burgers, hot dogs, drinks and ice cream to celebrate this new local business.

This new RV park has electricity, sewer, and water hookups for every site. The entrance is on Idaho Street as you drive north toward Wind River Canyon.

Locals Mike Norwood and Tim Thompson, of Confidence Builders, partnered on this new endeavor when they were in preparations to build some houses and the process went up, shared Grace, Mike’s wife.

Located on the property of the former school building, which already had the infrastructure in place, made the decision to create Cross Roads RV Park an easy one for Mike and Tim.

Though a bit of a stop-gap for the two while they wait for prices to go back down before heading full time into building houses, they have big plans to keep building on the amenities there.

Grace shared they plan to add a laundry facility, bathrooms, showers, a place for little shops to sell goods, and even add to their current 30 spaces.

Right now, they only have sites for campers and RVs. So no tent camping at this time. Their grand opening special is $45 per night.

They plan to offer online booking in the future so at this time reservations can be made by emailing [email protected] or calling (307) 851-3083.
