The Town of Shoshoni, Fremont County School District #24, the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT), and HDR Engineering will hold a public information meeting/open house to inform the public of the Shoshoni Sidewalk Improvement Project and the proposed signage, crosswalk, school zone, and Safe Route sidewalk improvements.
The open house will be informal allowing for open discussion with the steering committee and design consultant.
The purpose of the meeting is to inform the area residents of the proposed improvements which were previously identified in a study, and have been funded for completion through a Transportation Alternatives Grant administered by WYDOT and local matching funds.
Corridors have been identified for safe routes sidewalk improvements and during the public meeting the Town is seeking public comments. The improvements can be seen in the attached map.
A short presentation will take place at 6:10 PM in the Shoshoni Fire Hall Community Room.
The Town of Shoshoni, Fremont County School District #24, and consultant staff will be available with displays before and after the presentation to discuss the study and answer your questions. During this time, you will also have the opportunity to present written comments.
